Welcome to the 2008 Cymbidim seedling flask listing from Barrita Orchids

Cost is $40 per flask of 25 plants planted. Part payment may be required at time of order. Payment is required prior to shipment. Discounts may be available for large orders by negotiation. Freight and any documentation are extra. Descriptions shown are expressed in expectancy and flowering times are what would be expected at our nursery in a "normal" flowering year. This cross aims to bring the soft pink of the Sylva Atom into the spring period. Expecting medium length pinks with multiple spikes to the bulb

0887 Akebono 'Dural' X (Lady Angela x Khanation) 'Red Velvet'

Excellent! This is my pick of the series. Expect winter flowering, top quality dark pink small standards.

 0888 Mavourneen 'Jester' X (Zuma Boyd x Wyanga) 'Green Five'

Combination of my favourite petal peloric with one of our brightest dark greens. I am expecting a percentage of petal pelorics to come from this cross. Unable to confirm as this is the first time I have used a petal peloric.

0889 (Zuma Boyd x Wyanga) 'Green Five' X Cinnamon Wall 'Cinnamon'

Bringing two outstanding colours together. Total opposites in Green with the intense colour of ‘Cinnamon’. These will be open shaped flowers, Earthy tones, flowering in late winter.

0891 Boobong x Sahara Red 'Rose' X Kulnura Alchemy 'Aimee'

‘Aimee’ flowers in early spring, ‘Rose’ flowers in mid spring. Looking to produce open shaped, free flowering pinks.

Show bench cross. Bringing the compact habit of Sylva Atom to the overextended ‘Vanity’. The best of these will be award quality light pinks.

Very productive browns, ‘Mary’ will give 3 spikes per bulb. These will be open shaped and flower in spring.

October Rose has proven itself as a producer of free flowering upright stemmed progeny. Looking to produce dark pinks to flower in the spring. Intermediate sized.

Prediction for early spring flowering soft pinks. The best of these will be award quality. A high potential for multi spiking.

‘Delores’ is Spring flowering and has produced some nice progeny, here with ‘Vanity’ should give clean productive whites.

Spring flowering combination of a red/orange with a red/brown. This should give some strong brown tones.

This cross brings two multi spiking plants together to produce browns with excellent erect spikes. Open shape flowering in spring.
